Michigan Licensed Fire Safety Inspector
A company is looking for a Fire Safety Inspector 9-11.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with fire safety codes and standards
Assess state facilities, institutions, and businesses for adherence to fire safety regulations
Provide assistance in various areas as needed within the designated territory
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High school diploma is required
Completion of courses for Michigan Certified Fire Inspector program or NFPA Certified Inspector I credentials is necessary for higher levels
Three years of experience as a firefighter, law enforcement officer, or corrections officer for entry-level
Two years of experience equivalent to a Fire Safety Inspector 9 for E10 level
Three years of experience equivalent to a Fire Safety Inspector, including one year at the E10 level for the 11 level
