Key Responsibilities Provide strategic legal advice to the leadership team and ensure alignment of legal, regulatory, and government affairs with business goals Build relationships with external stakeholders to influence policy and advocate for regulations in the HEI space Manage all internal legal functions and oversee corporate governance practices, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation Required Qualifications Licensed attorney in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school 8+ years of legal experience in regulatory affairs, government relations, and compliance Legal expertise in ABS securitizations, structured products, and capital markets transactions In-house legal experience at a fintech company or startup preferred
