A company is looking for a Director of Risk to oversee underwriting, risk management, and compliance functions in their payment facilitation business. Key Responsibilities Create and maintain policies and procedures for compliance, underwriting, and risk functions Manage and train compliance, underwriting, and risk teams while ensuring alignment with regulations and business objectives Oversee daily analysis of merchant activity and manage external compliance-related audits Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent At least ten (10) years of experience in compliance and/or risk management in the payments industry Advanced knowledge of relevant payments industry regulations Demonstrated ability to design and improve underwriting and risk policies in a fast-paced environment Experience managing operational relationships with sponsor bank risk teams
