A company is looking for a Research Manager to lead a team in developing innovative threat detection solutions. Key Responsibilities Manage a team of security researchers and detection engineers to create and maintain detection capabilities Collaborate with leadership to establish and meet project goals and deadlines Coordinate cross-team projects with Products and Engineering teams Required Qualifications BS in Computer Science or Engineering, or equivalent experience 2+ years of experience managing technical teams in security research or incident response 5+ years of hands-on experience in information security, preferably in security research or detection engineering Working knowledge of detection engineering and incident response; experience with Zeek, Suricata, and YARA preferred Familiarity with software engineering practices and networking concepts
