Workers Compensation Claims Representative

A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Representative to assist hospitals and medical providers in resolving accounts related to work-related injuries. Key Responsibilities Maintain a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts and ensure timely follow-up with involved parties Submit insurance bills and documentation to Workers' Compensation carriers and manage appeals for denied claims Provide customer service support to patients and coordinate with clients to meet reimbursement guidelines Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred 1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, claims adjudication, or insurance Strong customer service background with a positive attitude Proficiency in data entry, MS Office applications, and web-based applications Ability to manage a large workload with strong organizational and time management skills
