Assistant Vice President of Procurement
A company is looking for an Assistant Vice President of Procurement.
Key Responsibilities
Direct and lead the organization's procurement function, including policy and procedure development
Manage and optimize sourcing processes, supplier activities, and implement effective protocols
Collaborate with senior leaders to establish business objectives and develop strategic supplier relationships
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Finance, or a related field
At least 10 years of experience in a procurement function
A minimum of 5 years of management experience
Strong knowledge of procurement law and significant experience in contract negotiation and administration
Experience in general management and electronic commerce, with a focus on negotiations and change management
