Collections Collector I
A company is looking for a Collections - Collector I to manage the collection of delinquent loans remotely. Key Responsibilities Review and work assigned delinquent accounts, contacting members by phone and mail to advise on debt repayment strategies Ensure accurate and complete documentation of all collection activities Conduct skip tracing to locate members and recommend actions such as repossession or deferments Required Qualifications 1 year of hands-on collection experience with real estate, secured and unsecured loans Strong background in the Fair Debt Collection Practice Act Working knowledge of general collection practices High School Diploma or GED required Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
