Part-Time Assistant Medical Director
A company is looking for an Assistant Medical Director (Part-Time). Key Responsibilities Provide oversight and input to the clinical team throughout the product development process Enhance the validity and accuracy of NLP outputs and identify additional medical terms for coded concepts Occasionally serve as a clinical liaison to medical policy teams at current customers Required Qualifications MD/DO with at least 5 years of clinical experience At least 3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle roles, including Utilization Management Prior experience in healthcare information technology and cross-functional teams is preferred Deep knowledge of the healthcare insurance industry and relevant regulations is advantageous Experience with payer medical policy teams and peer-to-peer conversations is a plus
