Key Responsibilities Monitor global natural catastrophes and provide daily weather updates Develop SAR data acquisition plans and task the satellite constellation for natural catastrophe events Collaborate with the Analytics engineering team to automate meteorology-focused analytics and ensure global readiness for 24/7 operations Required Qualifications Education in Meteorology, Atmospheric Sciences, or a closely related field Minimum of 2 years of experience in operational forecasting for decision-making Ability to work a non-standard schedule, including extra hours and weekends as needed Experience with direct monitoring and forecasting for natural catastrophes is preferred Familiarity with GIS software and an understanding of SAR or radar data fundamentals is a plus
