Key Responsibilities Contact insurance companies to determine pre-certification and pre-authorization requirements for hospital outpatient visits Obtain necessary pre-certifications or pre-authorizations before scheduled services Liaise with physicians and staff to gather additional information as needed Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Two years of experience in Healthcare Revenue Cycle or related healthcare experience Three years of related healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university preferred Certification with Healthcare Financial Management Association or Certified Revenue Cycle Representative preferred
