Remote Collections Specialist

A company is looking for a Collections Specialist - Remote. Key Responsibilities Manage and collect on accounts receivables for insurance carrier plan services Research and resolve payment issues and complete necessary corrections for outstanding claims Work closely with multiple departments to obtain information needed to resolve accounts receivable Required Qualifications, Training, and Education High School Diploma or equivalent 3 years of medical office or medical billing/collections experience in a hospital or centralized billing setting Knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-9/10 codes Familiarity with insurance explanation of benefits (EOB) and claims processing Solid skills with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
