Safety Analysis Engineer

A company is looking for a Safety Analysis Engineer for a remote contract position. Key Responsibilities Perform transient analyses for safety analysis needs of the demonstration reactor Collaborate with engineers to establish methods and computational models Maintain documentation of model development and perform engineering reviews Required Qualifications and Skills B.S. or higher in nuclear engineering or relevant engineering degree with 3 years of experience in the nuclear field Knowledge of nuclear systems fundamentals, including thermal-hydraulic and reactor transient behavior Experience with analysis of AOO, DBE, DBA, and BDBE Familiarity with engineering computer programs for system transient analysis and radionuclide transport analysis Experience in multi-disciplinary engineering teams and understanding of NQA-1 requirements
