Telecommunications Engineer

A company is looking for a Telecommunications Engineer who possesses extensive knowledge of the telecommunication industry and network architectures. Key Responsibilities Evaluate existing operations support communications systems and technological alternatives Design and implement communications interfaces, including engineering documentation and network configurations Provide Tier 3 customer support and advanced troubleshooting for deployed systems Required Qualifications Master's degree in Telecommunications preferred with 15 years' experience in voice/data network engineering Minimum 10 years of project management experience Experience designing and implementing IP telephony systems Understanding of network infrastructure and protocols, including LAN/WAN/VoIP protocols Recent experience designing, developing, and implementing communications networks for public transit industry applications
