Computational Scientist

A company is looking for a Computational Scientist. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with scientists to analyze large datasets of genetic, genomic, and clinical data Develop analytical approaches to integrate and interpret data for insights into disease biology Document processes, findings, and code, and present findings to the department and collaborators Required Qualifications PhD or Masters with significant experience in relevant fields such as Statistical Genetics or Computational Biology Extensive experience in large-scale genetic/genomic data analysis and genetic epidemiology Proficient in R, Python, and shell scripting; familiarity with C++ is a plus Experience with Git and high-performance computing environments Ability to work independently and produce high-quality analysis results
