Contract Reconciliation Specialist

A company is looking for a Reconciliation Specialist to join their Mortgage Servicing team on a contract basis. Key Responsibilities: Investigate and resolve aged reconciling items in payment clearing accounts Match transactions from multiple sources to identify discrepancies Maintain documentation of reconciliation activities and collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies Qualifications: 2-5 years of experience in reconciliation, accounting, or financial operations Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel Knowledge of SQL for data extraction and analysis is a plus Ability to work independently on complex issues Experience with mortgage servicing systems and general ledger platforms is a plus
