FHIR Interoperability Specialist
A company is looking for a FHIR Interoperability Specialist to coordinate and support public health FHIR interoperability activities and related projects. Key Responsibilities Assist with the design, testing, and implementation of electronic interfaces aligned with HL7 FHIR standards Provide HL7 FHIR technical expertise and develop documentation for interface workflows and quality assurance processes Lead strategic planning to assess agency-level FHIR readiness and support TDH EDI Interoperability enhancement activities Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in public health informatics, epidemiology, computer science, or related field with 5 years of relevant HL7 FHIR experience Preferred PhD or Master's degree in a related field with 2 years of relevant HL7 FHIR experience Experience with FHIR implementation and public health or clinical information systems Familiarity with HL7 FHIR implementation guides and electronic data interchange (EDI) engines Experience providing technical training on FHIR interoperability standards
