Hardware Safety Engineer
A company is looking for a Hardware Safety Engineer to develop autonomous systems and ensure compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of safety-critical hardware standards throughout the development lifecycle
Prepare documentation for regulatory submissions and customer requirements related to hardware safety
Conduct safety analyses and collaborate with teams to develop verification and validation plans for hardware components
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
5+ years of experience as a FuSa engineer or in a related role focused on safety-critical hardware
Experience with ISO 26262-5 or similar functional safety standards
Knowledge of safety analysis techniques such as FMEA, FTA, and FMEDA
Experience with robotics or related electro-mechanical systems
