A company is looking for a Senior Applications Analyst in the Information Technology department. Key Responsibilities Lead and serve as a subject matter expert for specific content issues and solutions Perform project management activities, including analysis, design, implementation, education, and support of application software Consult and communicate extensively with clinical staff, administrative users, and external agencies to improve patient safety and departmental workflow Required Qualifications, Training, and Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, clinical area, or related field, or five+ years of relevant healthcare/IT experience Minimum of three years' experience in implementing clinical information systems Previous teaching/training and project management experience ITIL and HIMSS certifications to be completed within one year of hire Strong knowledge of hospital clinical and administrative departments and advanced understanding of information systems and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
