Medical Director - Post-Acute Care

A company is looking for a Medical Director - Post-Acute Care Management, preferably a Physiatrist, for remote work. Key Responsibilities: Provide daily utilization oversight and external communication with network physicians and hospitals Conduct peer-to-peer conversations for clinical case reviews and manage provider telephonic discussions Collaborate with leadership and other teams to develop action plans and monitor progress towards goals Required Qualifications: Board certification as an MD, DO, or MBBS with a current unrestricted medical license Ability to obtain licensure in multiple states 3+ years of post-residency patient care experience, preferably in inpatient or post-acute settings
