Patient Account Manager
A company is looking for a Patient Account Manager to lead compliance efforts related to the No Surprises Act and oversee vendor performance.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and coordinate payer performance, particularly with BCBS, ensuring timely resolution of outstanding accounts
Track and evaluate outcomes of BCBS claim resolution processes, identifying trends and supporting corrective actions
Serve as the liaison between the hospital's revenue cycle team and BCBS representatives, facilitating effective communication and issue resolution
Required Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field preferred or equivalent experience
Minimum of 4 years of experience in medical billing or healthcare collections analysis, preferably with BCBS or commercial payers
Understanding of hospital revenue cycle operations and insurance claims workflows
Proficient in using billing software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Meditech) and Microsoft Excel
