Substation Designer
A company is looking for a Substation Designer to create design drawing packages for electric power substations. Key Responsibilities Develop and modify electrical layout and plan drawings for substation equipment and structures Prepare electrical schematics and complete electrical wiring design drawings Review vendor equipment drawings and collaborate with other disciplines to complete assigned work Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field preferred 4+ years of substation design experience using CAD software in electric utility projects Solid comprehension of 2D and 3D design software such as MicroStation and AutoCAD Experience with EPC or other design-build contract types Ability to work effectively in a team environment with multi-discipline groups
