Agency Underwriter

A company is looking for an Agency Underwriter to analyze the risk and compliance of residential mortgage loan applications. Key Responsibilities Analyze loan applications and documentation to ensure compliance with company and investor guidelines Review resubmitted documentation to issue final loan decisions Respond to loan audits and complete assigned training to maintain knowledge of guidelines and policies Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent 2+ years of recent experience underwriting credit and collateral to guidelines Current experience in an Underwriter position analyzing Agency and CES / HELOC Loans Intermediate level of computer skills, particularly in a Windows environment Strong time management skills and ability to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
