Alabama Licensed Information Security Analyst

A company is looking for an Information Security Analyst III. Key Responsibilities Monitors and evaluates security incidents, system alerts, and audit events to identify and mitigate potential threats Serves as an analytics resource, supporting the design and implementation of new security products and ensuring compliance with security policies Analyzes data from various systems to proactively search for threats and produces reports documenting security incidents and analysis results Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Information Security, or High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience in Information Security Knowledge of security event log analytics and at least two security technologies such as Firewall, Web-Proxy, or IDS/IPS Familiarity with at least three areas including Insider Threats, Malware Analysis, or SEIM Tuning Understanding of Internet Protocol Suite networking and systems administration Preferred: Current contractor experience with the organization
