Animation Systems Engineer
A company is looking for an Animation Engineer to develop scalable character animation systems in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain native animation instances for characters and runtime systems
Collaborate with Tech Animation to refine data definitions and modular character build logic
Drive and optimize secondary motion systems and improve animation system scalability across platforms
Required Qualifications
Expert-level C++ experience with real-time, performance-sensitive systems
Proven experience with real-time animation systems in Unreal or similar AAA engines
Deep knowledge of skeletal animation, blending, and state machines
Strong math foundation including linear algebra and motion/physics integration
Familiarity with modular character systems and technical considerations of multiplayer animation systems is beneficial
