Benefits Accountant
A company is looking for a Staff Accountant who will oversee reconciliations, reporting, and analysis of employee benefit programs. Key Responsibilities Perform monthly reconciliations of benefit-related accounts, including healthcare and retirement plans Collaborate with the People Team to ensure accurate recording of benefit costs and resolve discrepancies Analyze benefit expenses and trends to provide insights and reporting to finance and HR leadership Required Qualifications 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in payroll tax or benefits accounting Proficient in Excel and capable of handling large data sets Strong understanding of GAAP and benefits-related financial reporting Experience with research and analysis of financial data Workday experience is a plus, but not required
