Category and External Manufacturing Director
A company is looking for a Category and External Manufacturing Director to lead procurement and category management for Metal Driven Compounds and North America Contract Manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Drive procurement for Metal Driven Compounds and manage the product supply process Lead resolution plans for supply issues and monitor supplier performance metrics Develop cost reduction strategies and manage relationships with suppliers Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree minimum in relevant fields such as Procurement/Supply Chain, Engineering, Chemistry, Finance, or Business Minimum of 7+ years of operations experience, with at least 5+ years in Procurement/Strategic Sourcing Experience in a regulated industry is preferred Demonstrated experience in category management and strategic sourcing Strong business and financial acumen, along with Strategic Sourcing expertise
