CPA Government Consultant

A company is looking for a Governmental Advisory Services Senior Consultant, Remote Eligible. Key Responsibilities Oversee advisory engagements and special studies related to government financial, operational, and policy issues Manage a team to assess processes and provide recommendations for improvements based on external inspections Ensure client accounting and financial reporting objectives are met, including reconciliations and financial reporting Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field 5-10 years of experience in the government industry, including supervisory experience Active CPA licensure or a Master's degree is preferred Advanced knowledge of government accounting and financial management standards Ability to develop client relationships and pursue new business opportunities
