FHA VA Underwriter
A company is looking for a Government Underwriter (West Coast). Key Responsibilities Underwrite government loans including FHA and VA loans, as well as other loan types Communicate regularly with Loan Officers and Processors regarding loan status Assist with training needs of other mortgage positions and maintain accurate tracking of loan files Required Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years of recent government underwriting experience Valid LAPP/SAR for VA Loans and preferably FHA (DE) designation Experience as a frontline underwriter within the last 12 to 18 months Demonstrated knowledge of DU and LP input and interpretation Intermediate experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems
