A company is looking for a Government Underwriter (FHA/VA/Bond). Key Responsibilities Underwrite FHA and VA loans with active government designation (DE/Sar/Lapp) Underwrite various loan types including Conventional, Bond, USDA, Renovation, and Construction Maintain communication with Loan Officers and Processors regarding loan status Required Qualifications Minimum of five (5) years of specific government underwriting experience Valid CHUMS and/or LAPP/Sar required for FHA and VA loan underwriting Recent frontline underwriting experience within the last 12 to 18 months Experience with DU and LP input and interpretation Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email systems
