Investment Accountant

A company is looking for an Investment Accountant. Key Responsibilities: Manage accounting processes for monthly and quarterly close, focusing on real estate funds and property financials Prepare investment disclosures for financial reports including 10Q K and Financial Supplement Coordinate with various departments to ensure accurate accounting for new investment transactions Required Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years' experience in Insurance, Financial Services, or Finance Accounting Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Accounting, Math, or Statistics; advanced degree or CPA preferred Experience in accounting and reporting for investments Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting pronouncements and US insurance statutory reporting requirements Experience with financial instruments, including fixed income and equity securities
