Lead Inpatient Coding Specialist

A company is looking for a Lead Inpatient Coding Specialist (Non-Exempt). Key Responsibilities Serve as the coding lead for the Inpatient Coding Supervisor and support daily coding activities Monitor productivity, manage scheduling, and conduct coding edit/charge reviews Train and mentor new coders while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines Required Qualifications High School Diploma At least 5 years of coding experience in ICD-10-CM and/or HCPCS/CPT coding in an acute care setting Working knowledge of MS-DRG, APC, or MPFS/RVU payment methodology Certifications such as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, CPC, or CIRCC required within 6 months of employment Preferred: A.S. or B.S. from an accredited Health Information program
