Licensed Small Business Underwriter

A company is looking for an Underwriter for Small Business Insurance. Key Responsibilities Underwrite new and renewal business, including processing endorsements, inspection reviews, and premium audits Manually rate risks while understanding the components that drive price Train new underwriters on new states, risk types, and complex underwriting issues Required Qualifications High school diploma/GED equivalent or higher with a minimum of five years relevant experience in commercial lines, insurance industry, and/or underwriting; or a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of two years relevant experience Experience in Commercial Lines insurance preferred Experience in Commercial General Liability, Commercial Property, or BOP Underwriting preferred Professional designations such as CPCU, CIC, or AU are a plus Full-time employment with a Monday to Friday schedule
