Medical Collection Representative

A company is looking for a Medical Collection Representative - National Remote. Key Responsibilities: Perform complex collection functions and interface with various departments, insurance carriers, patients, and providers Serve as a patient advocate to handle unresolved inquiries and issues Participate in the development and management of organizational policies on collection processes Required Qualifications: High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience 1+ years of work experience in a corporate setting with 1+ years in managed care or medical insurance Ability to analyze data and understand established insurance contracts Experience with CPT/ICD-9 coding Ability to work scheduled shifts and adapt to changes in workload
