A company is looking for a Medical Equipment IT Specialist (MEITS) to provide support for network connectivity and security of medical devices. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with vendors and IT to connect and maintain networked medical equipment Provide technical support and project management for system installation and integration of medical devices Maintain records of work activities and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements Required Qualifications, Training, and Education Associate degree in Biomedical/Electronics/Computer/Information Technology/Cyber Security or equivalent technical discipline preferred Five years of direct experience in an IT-related discipline or three years with relevant certifications Superior knowledge of information systems, networking, and network security Basic knowledge of DICOM and HL7 communications is desirable Licensure and certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or Cisco CCNA are preferred
