Mortgage Accounting Associate

A company is looking for an Accounting Associate responsible for managing, reconciling, and reporting financial transactions and accounts. Key Responsibilities Perform reconciliations on general ledger and bank accounts, and code and post cash receipts and payables Initiate transfers between bank accounts, validate draw/check requests, and release wires and ACHs for Corporate and Servicing departments Complete month-end tasks, including posting and validating accruals and reconciling billing, while forwarding final reports to appropriate parties Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting preferred Experience in mortgage accounting is required Commitment to excellence and high standards Versatility and flexibility to adapt to changing priorities Good computer handling skills
