A company is looking for a Legal Counsel to become its first in-house legal leader. Key Responsibilities Lead commercial contracting efforts by drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements Provide legal guidance to Sales, Product, Operations, and HR teams to support business objectives Drive corporate governance and compliance initiatives while developing scalable legal processes Required Qualifications J.D. from an accredited law school and an active license to practice law in the U.S 4-7+ years of legal experience, preferably with a mix of law firm and in-house experience Strong track record in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in the technology sector Ability to handle diverse legal matters independently with excellent judgment Experience with technology companies, SaaS businesses, or data privacy matters is a plus
