A company is looking for a Property and Casualty Underwriter responsible for managing a portfolio of accounts and driving new and renewal business opportunities. Key Responsibilities Underwrites new and renewal property and casualty business, evaluating applications and documentation according to underwriting standards Assesses risks and determines appropriate coverage limits, premiums, and policy terms based on risk evaluation Maintains broker relationships and manages production activities to provide timely and quality service to clients Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Risk Management, Actuarial Science, Business Administration, or a related field 5+ years of experience in Property and Casualty Underwriting Must meet minimum requirements for state Property and Casualty and/or surplus line licenses Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation is a plus
