Oncology Variant Assessment Scientist
A company is looking for a Variant Assessment Scientist I: Oncology (REMOTE-US).
Key Responsibilities
Analyze diagnostic molecular genetic test results and provide clinical interpretation
Write research articles and participate in updating variant classification guidelines
Manage variant pre-classification workflow and assist in developing gene-specific tools
Required Qualifications
PhD and/or MD in molecular genetics, human genetics, molecular pathology, or related field; MS considered with exceptional expertise
Thorough knowledge of current theories and principles of human genetics
Experience in oncology/HCT and prior reporting specialty is preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Excellent written communication skills
