Registered Nurse Utilization Supervisor
A company is looking for a Utilization Management Supervisor responsible for managing nursing staff and improving operational efficiencies. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the Utilization Management nursing staff and adjust work queues as necessary Monitor adherence to departmental and company metrics while training new hires and providing ongoing clinical support Assess the Utilization Management program for opportunities to enhance efficiencies and outcomes Required Qualifications and Education Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license is required Two or more years of experience in Managed Care, specifically in Utilization Review or Case Management Three or more years of clinical experience as a bedside nurse in NICU/PICU/Peds/ICU Experience in a team lead or supervisory role managing nursing staff is desired Familiarity with URAC standards is preferred
