Remote Sensing Scientist
A company is looking for a Remote Sensing Scientist to join a multi-disciplinary team focused on overhead persistent IR sensors for the Department of Defense. Key Responsibilities Develop models representing the behavior of point and standoff sensors Conduct data analysis and develop image processing approaches for object detection Support testing and evaluation of software and analytics tools in various environments Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree with at least 5 years of experience in physics, electrical engineering, or a related field Proficient in Matlab and Python, or other scripting languages Experience in signal or image processing and exploitation of remote sensing data Eagerness to learn new tools and techniques Must be a US citizen and able to obtain a Department of Defense secret security clearance
