Key Responsibilities Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance framework, including policies and procedures for data management Lead a cross-functional data governance council to drive initiatives and decision-making Provide legal counsel on data use and ensure compliance with global data protection laws Required Qualifications J.D. degree from an accredited law school and membership in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar 8+ years of legal experience focusing on data privacy, data security, and data governance In-depth knowledge of global data protection laws, including GDPR and CCPA Experience in developing and implementing data governance frameworks CIPP/US or CIPP/E certification is a plus
