Key Responsibilities
Oversee the handling of appeals for Disability, Life, Worksite, and Dental claims, ensuring compliance with regulations
Provide leadership, training, and development opportunities to a team of Appeals Specialists and Consultants
Identify claims trends, resolve complex issues, and recommend process improvements
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in claims management, including 2+ years in a managerial or leadership role
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Insurance (4 years of experience may substitute for degree)
Experience in overseeing compliance with internal processes and external regulations
Proven ability to manage team workloads and develop talent
Familiarity with claims processing standards and quality specifications
