Texas Licensed CDI Trainer

A company is looking for a CDI Trainer. Key Responsibilities Train new CDI staff on clinical documentation concepts and procedures Perform concurrent and retrospective reviews on inpatient accounts to monitor team progress Develop and maintain training and reference materials to reflect current CDI practices and guidelines Required Qualifications and Education 3 years of CDI experience and 5 years of patient care nursing experience in an acute care setting Registered Nurse (RN) license and either CCDS or CDIP certification upon hire Extensive clinical knowledge of pathology/physiology and disease processes Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred
