Texas Licensed Clinical Document Specialist
A company is looking for a Clinical Document Integrity Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitates clinical documentation reviews to ensure accurate reflection of services and acuity of care
Communicates with physicians and healthcare teams to ensure complete documentation of diagnoses, procedures, and treatments
Initiates provider queries and performs follow-ups to ensure documentation clarity prior to patient discharge
Required Qualifications
3 years of acute care hospital nursing experience, preferably in critical care, or 5 years nursing experience in an acute care hospital with 3 years in critical care
Registered Nurse (RN) license
Certification in Clinical Documentation (CCDS or CDIP) obtained upon hire or within 6 months of eligibility
Experience working in a remote environment is preferred
Bachelor's Degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred
