Texas Licensed Clinical Documentation Specialist
A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Integrity Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Concurrently analyze medical records to improve documentation quality and completeness
Identify opportunities for documentation improvement and educate clinical staff
Ensure timely follow-up on cases and maintain accurate data input into the software system
Required Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing or healthcare-related field required
2 years of related clinical experience or 5 years of acute care hospital inpatient coding required
RN, RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or other relevant certifications required upon hire
Strong critical thinking skills and medical knowledge of disease processes
Ability to communicate effectively with physicians and clinical staff
