Texas Licensed Provider Relations Manager

A company is looking for a Manager, Provider Relations. Key Responsibilities Manage the Provider Relations functions and team members, overseeing daily operations and collaborating with other departments Develop health plan-specific provider contracting strategies to establish a sufficient network of participating providers Design and implement programs to enhance relationships with contracted providers and improve provider engagement in quality initiatives Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Health or Business related field or equivalent experience 5-7 years experience servicing physicians, hospitals, and ancillary providers with Medicaid and/or Medicare products 5+ years previous managed healthcare experience 2+ years in a direct or matrix leadership position Experience with various managed healthcare provider compensation methodologies
