Key Responsibilities Collects, enters, and maintains data from Emergency Department documents and electronic medical records Assigns and scores injuries using AIS and ICD-9/10 systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with regulatory agencies Participates in trauma program activities and collaborates with various departments to ensure data integrity and support trauma initiatives Required Qualifications High School graduate; preferred Associate Degree in a health-related field One year of experience in medical data integrity and analysis; preferred three or more years Completion of AIS/ISS, ICD-10 class within one year of hire Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word and Excel Working knowledge of ICD-10 medical coding
