A company is looking for a Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist (MD, NC, TN, GA, KY) REMOTE. Key Responsibilities Receives and transmits workers' compensation information accurately and timely Investigates and resolves lost time Workers' Compensation claims, including litigated claims Mediates between the insured and the insurance company, researching coverage issues as needed Required Qualifications High school diploma required; college degree preferred 3-5 years of claims experience with a strong background in Workers' Compensation claims handling Active state-specific Workers' Compensation License required or ability to acquire within three months Proficient knowledge of Workers' Compensation insurance coverage and claims processing procedures Strong grasp of claims principles, practices, and insurance coverage interpretation
