Background Check Specialist
A company is looking for a Background Check Specialist to manage the background screening process for new hires.
Key Responsibilities
Initiate, track, and review background checks for compliance with company policies and legal regulations
Analyze background check reports, identify discrepancies, and collaborate with external vendors
Assist in developing processes for efficiency and compliance, generating reports on background check metrics
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
2+ years of experience in background screening, HR compliance, or employment verification
Knowledge of background check regulations and FCRA compliance
Experience with background check vendors and HRIS platforms
Strong analytical skills to interpret and assess screening results
