Bioinformatics Analyst
A company is looking for a Bioinformatics Analyst II. Key Responsibilities Design, build, document, and maintain custom RNAseq and other OMICs data-analysis pipelines and front-end tools Detect and resolve software bugs and performance issues while providing technical support Educate and train colleagues in the usage of bioinformatics tools Required Qualifications Degree in computational biology, bioinformatics, computer science, biophysics, biotechnology, or related field BS with 2-4 years of experience or MS with typically 0-2 years of experience Advanced knowledge in programming languages such as R and Python Experience with cloud (AWS), high-performance computing environments (UNIX), and version control systems like Git Proficiency in statistical analysis methods and expertise in OMICS data analysis, especially RNAseq
